Why is our fresh Genovese pesto so delicious?
Thanks to the basil from Pra, known for its delicate aroma and unique flavor, cultivated with careful attention throughout all stages of growth and harvesting, it is the perfect main ingredient for making authentic pesto. Grown exclusively on the hills of Genoa, near the sea, the unique climate conditions, fertile soil, and sea breeze contribute to the creation of basil of exceptional quality, rich in essential oils that give our pesto its freshness and unmatched flavor. Additionally, we use only original and freshly harvested PDO products, following the true traditional Ligurian recipe.”

Ingredients: Our pesto is made by faithfully following the original recipe. We use only authentic ingredients, such as fresh basil from Pra, pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Pecorino PDO cheese. Each jar captures the spirit of Liguria, bringing the genuine taste of Genovese pesto to your table, just as tradition dictates.
Serving: Dilute your portion of pesto with one tablespoon of the pasta cooking water to achieve a creamy consistency. Traditionally in Genoa, pesto is served with potatoes and green beans.
Recommended Serving: Use at least 50 grams of pesto per portion for a rich flavor.
Guaranteed freshness: Store in the refrigerator at a temperature between 0°C and 4°C. After opening, the shelf life is 28 days from the date of production if stored in the refrigerator.”
