Visual appearance
In the glass, Mbare Pils shows a classic crystal-clear straw-yellow color, typical of traditional pilsners. It is topped with a white head that is fine, compact, and persistent, protecting the beer’s volatile aromas and reflecting the quality of the pour and carbonation.

Aromatic profile
On the nose, the elegance of noble European hops stands out, especially Spalter. The dry-hopping process intensifies the aromas without adding a harsh bitterness. Clear herbal notes of freshly cut grass and hay can be perceived, along with delicate floral hints of white flowers and wildflowers, plus a light biscuity and bread-crust background derived from pale barley malt.

Taste and mouthfeel
On the palate, the beer opens smoothly, led by the clean sweetness of the malt. Shortly after, the hop character emerges, with very fresh herbal and citrus notes. The body is lean and light, designed for maximum drinkability. The finish is dry, clean, and crisp. The bitterness is present, soft, and well-defined, never unpleasant, and it invites the next sip immediately.

Food pairings
Its pronounced dryness and good carbonation make it an excellent beer for cleansing the palate from fatty or fried foods.
