Caprese salad with pesto | Pesto песто ™

Ingredients:

  1. 250g of fresh, ripe cherry tomatoes
  2. 250g of buffalo mozzarella or high-quality fior di latte
  3. 60g of Pesto песто ™
  4. Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
  5. Sea salt, to taste

Preparation:

  1. Ingredient Preparation (2 minutes): Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and dry them carefully. Drain the mozzarella well from its liquid.
  2. Perfect Slicing (3 minutes): Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella, keeping a uniform thickness of about 2 cm.
  3. Seasoning (2 minutes): Arrange the slices of tomato and mozzarella alternately on a serving plate. Lightly season the tomatoes with a pinch of sea salt and drizzle everything with a bit of extra virgin olive oil.
  4. Final Touch (3 minutes): Add the Pesto песто ™, distributing it in drops or spreading it gently.
